GLBT SPEAKS is a glbt speaking agency. What does this necessarily mean? Simply, we are GLBT owned and operated and our subject matter is GLBT oriented.
We offer lively and well-planned educational programming in the areas of glbt coming out, acceptance, education on legal matters, dealing with life, and so much more. We also offer educational programming in HIV/AIDS education, Awareness and Advocacy.
Our agency is small, but we are not without a voice. We have advocacy and education first and fore-most on our minds and it is our goal to spread advocacy through education. If we are to help our glbt community, we must seek out and dispeal the myths associated with being "gay". This is only accomplished through education. And that is where we factor into the formula. In the words of harriet Tubman, "Every great dream begins with a dreamer... you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world." This quote serves as our inspiration to help others and as inspiration for our company logo.
